Setting aside the current celebrity cancelling by the High Street Banks, their policy to push online banking allows the ‘nerds’ in their bedsits with time on their hands to fleece us all. Please bring back cheques and cash (see GB News). The reasons that the Banks are so heavily fined is that they are doing wrong, yet again, where is the regulator? Apart from borrowing money, why is it the Banks want to control the terms and conditions of ‘our’ money (at least three times a year) when yet again they should be our servants to provide the services that we require.
