Privatisation has been a success, but the regulation of these services has not. The Regulatory Body / Group / Team etc. should be chosen as independent, and not culturally connected to the industry that they are regulating. They should have strong powers and teeth! As indicated above, a Government Minister for Regulations should have the power to immediately replace them if strict regulation is not adhered to. Capitalism only works with regulation.
